|Dr Jamieson Christie
Jamie studied for his undergraduate degree and PhD at Cambridge University, graduating in 2006 with a thesis on the structure on amorphous materials with Prof Stephen Elliott and Dr Sergei Taraskin. After a postdoctoral fellowship at ICTP in Trieste working on modelling high-pressure mantle materials with Prof Sandro Scandolo, he returned to the UK in 2008 where he held postdoctoral positions in the groups of Dr Antonio Tilocca and Prof Nora de Leeuw at the Department of Chemistry at UCL, working on the simulation of bioactive glass. In 2013, he was awarded a UCL Excellence Fellowship to continue that work. Jamie was appointed to a Lectureship at Loughborough University in February 2015.
